    • I made it out of a yearning for a past I can’t have back, and which really wasn’t as I remember it, but like enough to bring out the ache of regret. The door and window are photos from where I last lived in Seattle. Never thought they’d be used in this.

      Most of the time I avoid putting memories into written words or pictures – the present is more than enough to contend with – but this felt right. And a bit liberating. I might do more of this sort of thing.
