TED Talks: Billy Collins on poetry and animation

A weekly post featuring talks by innovative thinkers, sponsored by TED (Technology, Entertainment, Design). This is what the internet was made for – to allow challenging ideas to escape from their academic ghettoes and hang out in a place where they can talk to each other.

Billy Collins is a former US Poet Laureate. Here he talks about setting his poems to animation, and plays 5 animated poems. It works surprisingly well, perfectly complementing the words. Good to see TED featuring poetry as well as cool technogeekery and brave new visions for future worlds.
