this is not a post about my health issues or symptoms. but i mention one again here because i am learning to adapt to it. it’s a useful skill, really. i think i mentioned in the first post of of this blog that my balance is easily offset.
in addition to spending a vast amount of time on the backs of horses, i have also spent some time on a dojo mat. my relationship with Aikido has never been constant. i have never been good at following much of anything, be it a religion, a spirituality, someone’s instructions, a sheet of music, etc. but Aikido is something i have practiced numerous times in my life. i love the philosophy behind it. the spirituality serving as its foundation. and the history behind how this artform was developed.
