I find this a bit creepy. It’s made by putting together crops of the roof of the Experience Music Project in Seattle, and that black band across the top is a part of the silver roof that was in shadow. The anthropomorphic shapes pushing up against the black barrier suggest repression to me. That’s why I gave it a title with a double meaning – Frieze/Freeze.
